Space Mountain’s popularity has stood the test of time as the oldest-operating roller coaster in Florida. Heading back to Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain ranks third. The haunted hotel theme ride is inspired by the classic TV series The Twilight Zone. This Disney’s Hollywood Studios ride offers a couple thrilling drops bound to spook guests. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror comes in as the second-most popular ride. Currently, the popular attraction is undergoing a re-imagining to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, inspired by the hit movie The Princess and the Frog. The log flume ride has been a favorite among guests for years. Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom takes the top spot as the most popular ride at WDW.

These factors were then combined in an index to give each ride a total score to determine the most popular rides at Disney World. The rides at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios were ranked based on three key factors: Instagram hashtags, Tripadvisor ratings and average monthly search volume for each ride. The Disney travel planning experts at MagicGuides recently examined every ride at all four Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando theme parks.
